Introduction to Pottery for young people !!
Come discover the joys of wheel-throwing together with your child! In this 2-hour workshop, youth ages 8 and up are invited to learn the basics of wheel throwing together with an adult. With hands on guidance participants will be introduced to the essential steps required for working with a potters wheel: wedging, centring, and all the necessary skills to create a small cup or bowl. Each participant will work on their own wheel and may keep their one best piece. Following the workshop, pieces will be trimmed, fired, and glazed clear by the Atelier Make team. Maximum of 5 adults and 5 youth per group.
