PREREQUISITES: You must have a foundation in pottery and be comfortable working independently.
THE SPACE: Our private members' space is intended for aspiring or newly established ceramists looking to develop their craft. We offer an all-inclusive studio rental model in which clay, tools, glazes, and firing are included in the monthly fee. The space is a well-lit 120 square foot private studio, fully equipped with a top of the line potters wheel (Shimpo Whisper), a 4 x 5 foot work table, storage shelving, and extensive tools. Our team handles the firing of all work. Each member has two dedicated time slots per week and adjustments can be made as needed using a shared google calendar. Each member has key access to the studio. Members are responsible for cleaning the space after each use. We ask for a minimum 3 month commitment for access to this space. Most of our members have been with us for several years.
