Come discover the joys of wheel-throwing together with your child! In this 2-hour workshop, youth ages 7 and up are invited to learn the basics of wheel throwing together with an adult. With hands on guidance participants will be introduced to the essential steps required for working with a potters wheel: wedging, centring, and all the necessary skills to create a small cup or bowl. Kids age 9 years or under will share a wheel with their adult. Ages 10 and up will have their own wheel. Following the workshop, pieces will be trimmed, fired, and glazed clear by the Atelier Make team. Maximum of 5 adults and 5 youth per group.
