Throwing Level 1 - 6 weeks: 3 hours per week, materials included. This 6-week intensive class is geared towards students who are new to the wheel or whom are developing their skills of all levels. For beginners the primary focus will be on solid centring: the foundation of throwing. In six sessions you'll have be able to make a set of your very own cups and bowls as well as trim and decorate them too! For those who have some experience, we'll help you throw taller, thinner, and more refined forms. Learn tips, tricks, and techniques for maximizing your ball of clay. Choose an objective and use these 6 sessions to realize your goals - think vases, creamers, pitchers, maybe even a try a lid or spout! More advanced students can focus on throwing taller, larger, or more elaborate forms. Our skilled instructors will adapt the class to your level.
All classes are bilingual French/English unless otherwise specified.
