NEW: "POP-Ins" - Drop-in Practice Sessions
"Pop-Ins" is our flexible open studio program for those who wish to come to the studio occasionally. Pop-Ins are offered to students who have completed a 6-week course at Atelier Make or elsewhere. Pop-Ins encourage the practice and refinement of technique, not the mass production of objects. The last Saturday of the month is reserved for glazing.
Participants must be able to work independently. No instruction is available during the open studio session. Atelier Make reserves the right to refuse to fire pieces that are cracked or likely to crack during firing. Atelier Make cannot be held responsible for lost, broken, or forgotten pieces.
When throwing on the wheel, it is important to book a subsequent session for trimming and then glazing your pieces. It is recommended to glaze your pieces within one month of their completion. The workshop is not responsible for storing students' work in progress beyond this timeframe. Any remaining clay cannot be reused in a subsequent session.
