Membership - Open Studio

OPEN STUDIO - monthly membership (4-weeks)

Open studio is available to students who have completed Level One Throwing or Handbuilding at Atelier Make and/or who are authorized to register for open studio. The open studio is intended as space to practice and improve your technique and is not suitable for larger scale production. The last Saturday of each month is reserved for glazing. Open Studio participants must be autonomous. No instruction is available during Open Studio hours. Atelier Make does not take responsibility for lost, broken, or forgotten pieces. Atelier Make maintains the right to refuse firing any pieces that are cracked or may crack in the firing process. 

Fixed Schedule Fri or Sat: 165$ per month. Access for 3 hours per week either Fridays or Saturdays from 12:30-3:30pm. Membership includes: 10 pounds of clay as well as firing and glazing. One shelf per person for storage.   

Flexible Membership: 185$ per month. Access for up to 6 hours per week Wednesday + Thursday 12:30-3:30pm*. Membership includes: 10 pounds of clay as well as firing and glazing. One shelf per person for storage. (*Except if we have a private group booking, in which which case we will notify you in advance and offer you an alternate time slot). 

Drop in sessions (3h): Drop in Wednesday - Friday 12:30-3:30pm (by reservation only). If you are throwing, 5lbs clay is included with your session. For trimming and glazing all necessary tools and materials are provided. For glazing, you may glaze only the objects made during a previous Open Studio drop in session. 

Drop in for current students (2h): If you are currently registered in a class, you can drop in for extra practice Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 12:30-2:30pm. No work may be kept during these sessions. This time is for practice only. Clay is included and must be re-wedged at the end fo your practice time.
