This six-week intermediate ceramics course is designed for students who want to refine their throwing skills. Focusing on form development and small-scale production techniques, it will teach you how to design, reproduce, and refine a series of ceramic objects with intention and consistency.
Through hands-on demonstrations and guided exercises, you will explore methods for achieving uniform sets, strategies for throwing increasingly larger and taller pieces, and techniques for planning and producing consistent forms. Emphasis will be placed on process, control, and craftsmanship to help students gain confidence and efficiency at the wheel.
Whether you want to create a matching set of cups, vases, small plates, or other functional pieces, this course will provide you with the tools and support needed to hone your practice and push your creative boundaries.
